Grounds Crew Member
Looking for individual to help set fields and perform various duties on the grounds. Grounds crew maintain and prepare grounds for sports programs and events. Must be dependable, at least 16 years of age and be able to run a lawn mower tractor, gator and weed eater. Possible 8-12 hours a week and some weekends.
Concession Manager will lead concession operations including management of concessions staff, opening and closing facility, cooking and serving menu items, communicating inventory needs, and overseeing tasks for volunteers. Must be 18 or older to apply.
You will work as part of the Concession Team preparing and serving menu items, stocking, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. You will work with Concession Manager, NMSR Board Members, and volunteers. Hours will be part-time approximately 5pm-10pm during the week (on game nights), and some weekends that correspond with our tournaments and spring/summer game schedules. Season begins March 2022. Ages 15 & over may apply.

The Umpire In Chief provides excellent umpire training clinics. Since this is a requirement for new umpires, the clinics are free of charge and are provided both in-house and on-the-field. We are looking for boys and girls, men and women, who are committed, enthusiastic, and willing to work hard.
14 years of age or older
Experience helpful, but not required
Pay $30 to $45 per game depending on experience
Games are typically played Monday through Thursday at 6 and 8 p.m. (umpires can request early games only).
If you would like to umpire for the New Horizons League plan on attending the New Umpire Orientation at Lake Saint Louis City Hall (200 Civic Center Drive) at 6:30pm. This meeting will last around 2 hours and will provide basic information regarding umpiring with us and some league rule information. Umpires will then attend up to two more meeting (one per week) depending on the qualifications they fall under that also start at 6:30pm. Please note the dates and locations listed below and complete the paperwork under the "Sign Up" section to bring to the first meeting you attend. For those who are new to umpiring please email Chris White at firstname.lastname@example.org and let him know you'll be attending the new Umpire Orientation or if you have any questions.

* If a new umpire can't make the March 9th meeting please attend the March 14th or 16th meeting to get updated.
***Umpires will only need to attend one meeting each week as the info repeats itself during the same week***
Outdoor Trainings will follow the meetings above and those dates will be given at a later date.
